Troubleshoot Workflows
When a workflow won’t run, the message usually says why: a limit, a feature that isn’t open, or a temporary check that failed.
Messages and what to do
| You see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You have used all … workflow executions included this month. | The monthly allowance is used | Buy a pack, turn on automatic top-ups, upgrade, or wait for next month |
| You already have … workflows running, which is the limit on your plan. | Too many runs at once | Wait for a run to finish, or upgrade |
| Could not verify your plan limits right now. Please try again in a moment. | A temporary check failed | Try again shortly |
| Scheduled workflows aren’t available yet. Run the workflow manually instead. | Schedules are not open | Start the run by hand |
| The legacy workflow builder isn’t available yet. Use Workflows instead. | The old builder is off | Use the current Workflows page |
| No Workforce switch in the sidebar | Your account isn’t in the preview | Nothing to fix; it opens at launch |
A run stops at an approval step
It is waiting for a person to approve or reject it. Ask the approver to respond.
A step that calls a service fails
Check the credential the step uses on the Credentials tab, and that the address is a public one. Private network addresses are refused.
Still stuck
Open the run on the Executions tab, note its time and the step that failed, then see Contact support with the right details.
