Get started with AI Chat
AI Chat is ready as soon as you have a Syntic account. Sign in on the web, start a new chat and type; there is nothing to install.
Before you start
- A Syntic account. New here? See Create an account.
- A current desktop or mobile browser. Chat also appears in the Syntic apps listed under Where you can use Syntic.
Your first chat
Sign in
Go to syntic.ai and sign in with the method you used when you signed up.
Open a new chat
Click New Chat at the top of the sidebar. If you belong to more than one organization, check the organization name first: usage is counted against the one that is active. See Switch organizations.
Send a message
Type in the message box and press Enter. Use Shift+Enter for a new line. To add a file, use the attach button or press ⌘U (Ctrl+U on Windows).
Your chats are listed under the sidebar’s recent list, so you can come back to any of them later.
Optional first settings
- Settings → AI Personality sets the tone of replies. See AI Personality.
- Settings → Data Controls decides whether your chats help train Syntic models. See AI Chat security and privacy.
