Syntic Code usage analytics and limits

Every request Syntic Code makes uses tokens from your plan’s allowance, the same allowance you use for chat. You can see where you stand inside a session with /usage, and on the Syntic website under Settings › Usage, where Syntic Code is counted under API / Code.

Check usage in a session

CommandShows
/usageEach plan window, how much you have used, credits and trends.
/costThis session’s running cost, by model and by helper agent.
/statsToken counts and spend by model.
/insightsWhat drove token use over the last day and week.
/contextHow full the current conversation is, and what fills it.
/rate-limit-optionsEach limit, when it resets, and your choices.

Dollar figures in Syntic Code are estimates at list price, useful for comparing tasks. Usage your plan covers is not charged twice.

Enterprise plans have no fixed windows. More detail: How usage limits work.

When you reach a limit

Syntic Code names the limit and the reset time. By default a stopped session carries on by itself once the window resets; set "autoContinueAfterUsageLimit": false to stop instead. Your other options are listed by /rate-limit-options: wait, switch to a lighter model, turn on usage credits, or change plan.

Usage credits cover use beyond the plan. /usage-credits shows the balance and whether credits are on; owners and admins can switch them on or off there.

To use fewer tokens: start a new conversation with /clear for unrelated work, run /compact in long ones, use /fast for simple jobs, and keep your SYNTIC.md short.
