API Terms
The Syntic API Terms apply when you build on the Syntic API: who may build, what you can do with the outputs, your responsibilities toward your own users, and how Syntic handles your data. Read the current version at syntic.ai/legal/api-usage.
What they cover
| Topic | In short |
|---|---|
| Licence | You may call the API and build it into your own products, including products you sell |
| Your end users | You are responsible for your app’s terms, privacy notices, consent and age-appropriate access |
| Content and outputs | You keep your inputs and receive Syntic’s rights, if any, in the outputs |
| Training | API content is not used to train general Syntic models by default |
| Prohibited conduct | No fraud, exploitation of minors, malicious cyber activity, unauthorized surveillance or getting around safety controls |
| Limits and billing | Rate limits, quotas and metering as shown in the Console and the docs |
| Suspension | Access can be restricted for urgent security threats, material abuse, unlawful activity or non-payment, with notice where practicable |
