Get started with Syntic on mobile
There are no Syntic apps in the App Store or Google Play yet. You can use Syntic on your phone or tablet today in a mobile browser, with the same account, plan and conversations as on your computer, and add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Native apps: Coming soon for iPhone and Android. We will announce them in the release notes.
Set up Syntic on your phone
Open Syntic in your browser
Go to app.syntic.ai in Safari, Chrome or another up-to-date mobile browser.
Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email and choose Continue with email, then enter the one-time code we send you. If you turned on two-step verification, have your authenticator app ready.
Add it to your home screen
In Safari, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome on Android, open the three-dot menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. The icon opens Syntic in its own window, straight into chat.
Step-by-step pictures of the home-screen step are in Use Syntic on your phone.
What works on a phone today
| Works in the mobile browser | Not on mobile yet |
|---|---|
| Chat with Syntic | Native iPhone and Android apps |
| Your conversations, synced with your computer | Syntic Code (it runs in a computer’s terminal) |
| Account, plan and billing under Settings | Syntic Desktop and Syntic Terminal |
The home-screen shortcut still needs an internet connection; it does not work offline.
