Notification settings
Choose which events notify you, and whether by email, in the app, or both, in Settings → Notifications. Your in-app notifications collect on the Notifications page, which you open from the account menu.
The notification types
Each type has two switches, Email and In app.
| Notification | Sent when |
|---|---|
| Comments | Someone replies to a comment |
| Mentions | Someone mentions you in a comment |
| Updates | A project or content you follow is updated |
| Organizations | You are added to an organization, your role changes, or you are removed |
Turn a switch off to stop that kind of message on that channel. The change is saved straight away.
Reading your notifications
Open the account menu (your email, lower left) and click Notifications. Organization invitations also arrive here; open one to accept or decline it. See Accept an invitation.
Messages you always receive
Some emails are part of running your account and are not controlled by these switches, such as your sign-in verification codes.
Every notification email contains a Manage preferences link that opens this page.
