Consumer and Business Terms
Syntic has two sets of service terms. The Consumer Terms cover personal use with an individual account; the Business Terms cover organizations, enterprise workspaces and their users. If you use Syntic through your employer, the Business Terms or your company’s agreement usually apply instead of the Consumer Terms.
Which terms apply to me?
| You use Syntic… | Terms that apply |
|---|---|
| On your own, with a Free or paid personal plan | Consumer Terms |
| Through an organization or enterprise workspace | Business Terms, or a signed agreement |
| Through the Syntic API in your own product | API Terms |
Points people ask about
- Age: the Consumer Terms require you to be at least 18, or older where local law requires it. See Age requirements.
- Your content: you keep the rights you hold in what you submit, and receive Syntic’s rights, if any, in the outputs.
- Fair use: both sets of terms list uses that are not allowed. See Usage policy.
- Plans and cancellation: cancelling stops future renewals; you keep paid access for the period already paid. See Cancel your plan.
- Account actions: Syntic may restrict or suspend accounts for serious misuse. See Account enforcement and appeals.
This page is a short guide, not a replacement for the terms. The version published on syntic.ai is the one that applies.
