Syntic Desktop usage and limits
Everything you do in Syntic Desktop counts toward your Syntic plan’s allowance, shared with the website and Syntic Code. You can check your balance in the app’s account panel and see detailed usage on the Syntic website.
Where to see usage
| Where | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Model menu footer | Your plan and token count. |
| Account panel (Settings › Account) | Topped-up balance and Granted balance, with View usage and Top up. If the balance cannot be loaded here, it shows View on Platform. |
| Settings › Usage on the Syntic website | Your usage this month, by product. |
The limits that apply
Your plan’s monthly token allowance is the main limit, with a rolling 5-hour window and a weekly window on top. They are the same windows as everywhere else on Syntic; see How usage limits work.
When you run out
| What you see | What it means | What to do |

| ”Request quota exhausted.” | A usage window is full. | Wait for the reset, or upgrade. See Out of credits or over your limit. |
| ”You’ve used your Free plan allowance” | The Free plan’s monthly tokens are used. | Upgrade, or wait for the monthly reset. |
| ”Low balance. Top up to keep using Syntic models.” | Your credit is running low. | Top up before it runs out. |
| ”You’re sending messages quickly. Try again in a moment.” | A short-term rate limit. | Wait a few seconds. |
A full list of limit messages is in Plans and limits in Syntic Desktop.
