Use Syntic Desktop with an individual plan
Syntic Desktop has no separate price: it uses your existing Syntic plan. Chat works on every plan, including Free, within that plan’s allowance. The Code workspace and saved memories need a paid plan (Starter or higher). Because the app is still in preview, this applies to preview testers only.
What each plan gets in the app
| Free | Paid plans (Starter and higher) | |
|---|---|---|
| Chat | Yes | Yes |
| Code workspace | No | Yes |
| Saved memories | No | Yes |
| Models | Amara Deep and Syntic Code | All four: Amara S2, Amara Deep, Syntic Code and Syntic Code Fast |
| Monthly tokens | 200,000 | From 2,000,000 (Starter and Business) to 25,000,000 (Operations) |
The model menu marks any model outside your plan with Requires and the plan it needs. The menu footer shows your plan and token count. For exact prices and allowances, see Compare plans.
Unlock Code
Open the upgrade
When Code shows “Code needs a paid plan”, choose Upgrade to unlock Code. You can also choose Upgrade plan in the account menu.
Finish in the browser
The plan change opens on the Syntic website. Pick a plan and pay. When you are done, the browser tells you to return to Syntic Desktop.
Go back to the app
Code unlocks with your new plan. If it still shows locked, sign out and back in.
Balance and top-ups
The account panel shows a Topped-up balance and a Granted balance, with Top up and View usage buttons. If the app says No balance available, it cannot start a new task on that account until you top up or your plan window resets. See Syntic Desktop usage and limits.
