Accept an invitation
When someone invites you to their Syntic organization, nothing happens until you agree. You see the organization and the role you were invited with, and you choose to join, wait (Not now) or Decline invitation.
If you are new to Syntic
Open the invitation email
Click the link in the email. It signs you in to a new account with your address already filled in.
Continue
The welcome screen says you are invited to the organization and offers two buttons:
- Continue to Syntic joins the organization with the role you were invited with.
- Continue with Google links your Google sign-in to the account. Syntic then asks Join followed by the organization’s name, with the option to wait or decline.
Finish setting up
Complete the short welcome steps if you haven’t yet.
If the link has expired, the page says so and offers Send me a fresh link, which sends a new one to the same address.
If you already have an account
Existing users get a notification titled You’ve been invited to join followed by the organization’s name. Open it, or go to the Invitations page, to see every pending invitation with its role and expiry date. For each invitation:
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Join followed by the organization’s name | You become a member with the role shown |
| Not now | The invitation stays open; you can come back to it until it expires |
| Decline invitation | The invitation is turned down and the inviter sees Declined |
Expired invitations are not listed.
Signed in with the wrong account?
If the invitation was sent to a different address than the one you are signed in with, Syntic shows the address it was sent to (partly hidden) and your current address, with Sign in with a different account.
Invitations expire after 14 days. If yours has expired, ask an administrator of the organization to send it again.
After you join
Switch to the new organization from the workspace switcher in the sidebar. See Switch between organizations.
